Decision made regarding provision of school uniforms

Minister of Industry and Entrepreneurship Development Sunil Handunnetti said today (06) that The government hopes to provide school students with ready-made uniforms instead of uniform's cloth from next year.

The Minister stated that this decision is being taken because a large amount of cloth is wasted in the provision of clothes.

He made this statement while addressing a function held at the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall in Colombo.
