The final soundtrack of the tragically missing Titan submarine

T
he Titan, a small submarine that was on a mission to explore the wreck of the sunken Titanic, suddenly disappeared in 2023.

The Titan was launched by the Paula Prince, which had reached the site of the Titanic wreck on the morning of June 18, 2023, at 08:00 US time. The submarine was scheduled to resurface at 3:00 PM that day.

The five submariners were set out to explore the wreck of the Titanic, which sank in 1912. They were Stockton Rush, CEO of Ocean Gate, British billionaire Hamish Harding, French diver Henry Nargoeolet, Pakistani-born British billionaire Shahzada Dawood, and his son Suleman Dawood.

All communication with the submarine was lost about 45 minutes after launch, and the Coast Guard was notified at around 5:45 p.m. The Coast Guard's command center in Boston then began operations to search for the missing submarine.

After extensive operations, it was revealed that the submarine had catastrophically exploded, killing all five passengers.

The US Coast Guard has now released the final movement audio track of the submarine before it exploded.

The 20-second audio, recorded by a NOAA acoustic monitoring device from nearly 900 miles away, includes a static explosion, a thunderous boom, and then what is believed to be the final sounds of the ill-fated submarine, foreign media reports.

Here is a video posted about that final audio recording.
