Heavy rains in several districts across the island today

The Department of Meteorology says that occasional rain or thundershowers may occur in Western, Sabaragamuwa, Wayama and Northern provinces and in Galle, Matara, Kandy, Nuwara Eliya and Trincomalee districts.

The announcement issued by the Department of Meteorology says that the other parts of the island may experience rain or thundershowers in the evening or at night.
