How the prices of bread and bakery products change

The country's leading flour manufacturers, Serendib and Prima, have decided to reduce the price of bread flour by Rs. 10 per kilo, effective from February 18.

In addition, the Bakery Association has agreed to reduce the price of a pound of bread by Rs.10 and to reduce the prices of other bakery products to pass on the benefit of lower bread flour prices to the public, the Ministry of Trade, Commerce, Food Security and Cooperative Development said in a statement.
