A big drop in vegetable prices

There has been a big decrease in the price of vegetables in Peliyagoda Manning Market. It is due to bad weather conditions.

As mentioned by the Vice President of Peliyagoda Manning Market Public Trade Society, the prices of vegetables are as follows.

A kilo of carrots is 100 rupees

200 rupees per kilo of green chillies

400 rupees per kilo of fish and chili

A kilo of beans is 280 rupees

A kilo of leeks is 160 rupees

Cabbage is 100 rupees per kilo

250 rupees per kilo of tomatoes

A kilo of bitter gourd is 350 rupees

50 rupees per kilo of radish

200 rupees per kilo of Snake gourd

Okra is 100 rupees per kilo

A kilo of pumpkin is 100 rupees

150 rupees a kilo of Luffa

A kilo of onion leaves is 180 rupees

A kilo of beetroot is 80 rupees

A kilo of drumsticks is 300 rupees

100 rupees per kilo of Knol Khol

200 rupees per kilo of lime

A kilo of ginger is 800 rupees
