Excise Department Special Announcement

The Excise Department has issued a notification informing that the arrears of the tax periods imposed for the alcohol producers should be paid before the 30th of this month.

The Excise Department points out that 8.5 billion rupees will be charged from nearly 10 alcohol manufacturing companies.

The announcement also states that legal action will be taken against companies that do not pay dues within the relevant period.
