Kusal, Dickwella Sri Lanka's place in the team

Kusal Mendis has been given the opportunity to participate in the one day cricket tournament which is scheduled to start tomorrow (16) against the Zimbabwe team. Accordingly, Kusal Mendis will be used as the opening batsman of the Sri Lanka Cricket team, said the captain of the Sri Lanka Cricket team Dasun Shanaka at a press conference.

Dasun Shanaka has said that Kusal Mendis will definitely play as a opening batsman and that Niroshan Dickwella will be used to replace a player who will be injured or will be effected by Covid.
