Schools to be closed due to inclement weather

The Ministry of Education has issued a special announcement regarding the holding of Colombo and Gampaha schools due to the prevailing bad weather conditions.

Accordingly, schools in the Colombo region will be closed tomorrow (14) and all schools in the Kelaniya and Gampaha regions will be closed tomorrow and the next day, the ministry says.
