Two Sri Lankan cricketers named among the best players of the year

Sri Lanka all-rounder Wanindu Hasaranga has been nominated for the 20-20 Cricketer of the Year award by the International Cricket Council.

Pakistan's Mohammad Rizwan, Australia's Mitchell Marsh and England's Jose Butler are among the other nominees. Wanindu Hasaranga is currently in the first place in the Twenty20 world rankings.

Meanwhile, Sri Lanka Test captain Dimuth Karunaratne has been nominated for the ICC Test Cricketer of the Year award.
